Our church, opened in 1954, is situated at the top of Foster Avenue next to the Town Hall, opposite the Broxtowe Borough Council Offices and the Library, and within easy reach of the University of Nottingham. It boasts a modern community hall which is available for hire. There is some parking at the church, with more parking available at the pay-and-display municipal car park on Foster Avenue, or there is on-street parking on Devonshire Avenue and adjacent roads.

Year of Mercy
In our Diocese the Extraordinary Jubilee of Year of Mercy opened on 8 December 2015 and will conclude on 20 November 2016. In this Year of Jubilee, Pope Francis invites us to gaze ever more attentively on the face of Christ, the incarnate mercy of God,and to see Him in our brothers and sisters, so that we can become an ever more outward looking and effective sign of this mercy.
The Call, the Journey
and the Mission
An Invitation from the Bishops of England and Wales to reflect on the Gift of Marriage and Family Life.
In October 2014, bishops and other delegates from around the world met with Pope Francis in Rome for a special gathering called a Synod. The theme for discussion was the Pastoral Challenges to the Family in the Context of Evangelisation. A further Synod will take place in October 2015 and the focus then will be on the theme of The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and in the Contemporary World. In this time between these two Synods, our Holy Father has asked us to spend time reflecting on these themes with "true spiritual discernment."
